This was actually a solid game. Not my all-time favorite, but it definitely delivered where it mattered. There were some genuinely good scares, everything ran smoothly, and the gameplay kept me entertained the whole way through.

It’s a shorter indie horror experience (as expected), but it still managed to build a creepy, unsettling vibe that worked really well. And listen… anything involving kids? Automatically sad in my book. The story hit emotionally, and the ending absolutely wrecked me. I’d definitely recommend adding a few trigger warnings before diving in.

That said, overall? Really good game. If you’re looking for a shorter horror experience with a creepy atmosphere and some off-the-wall jump scares that catch you when you least expect it, this one’s worth your time.

Not perfect — but definitely worth playing. 👀😬🔥

Alright, let’s talk about 9 Child’s Street, aka “let’s casually ruin my emotional stability while pretending I’m fine for chat.”

Going into this, I wouldn’t say it’s the scariest game I’ve ever played… but here’s the thing: anything involving kids in horror automatically puts me on edge in a way I do NOT appreciate. So while it’s not constant scream-in-your-face terror, it definitely leans into that psychological discomfort that just kinda… sits with you. You know the kind.

The game drops you into a creepy setting where you’re basically piecing together what happened through exploration, environmental storytelling, and some good ol’ “why did I just hear that” moments. It’s very much a slow-burn horror experience that builds the story as you go. You’re investigating, uncovering clues, and slowly realizing that things are… not okay. Like, deeply not okay.

Now let me be real for a second… there are moments where the game does that thing where it gives you just enough direction to function, but not enough to feel confident. So you might find yourself wandering around like “cool cool cool… what am I doing again?” That could be intentional to build tension… or it could be me being distracted talking to chat instead of reading properly. Jury’s still out.

Mechanically though? Super smooth. No complaints there. Everything felt responsive, clean, and easy to navigate.

Visually and audio-wise they absolutely nailed it. The graphics are detailed enough to pull you in without overdoing it, and the sound design? Yeah… wear headphones if you hate peace. The ambient noises, subtle cues, and well-timed jumpscares actually hit when they’re supposed to. Not overused, not cheap but just enough to keep you on edge.

And the story… whew. It’s one of those that creeps up on you emotionally. What starts as a basic “let’s investigate this weird situation” turns into something genuinely sad and unsettling. It’s not just horror for the sake of horror…there’s weight to it, and it sticks with you after you’re done.

Now, do I enjoy games involving kids the same way I enjoy other horror games? Absolutely not. They mess me up in a very specific way. But I will say I did enjoy playing it. It delivered a solid psychological horror experience, kept me engaged, and gave me just enough dread to make it memorable.

Final verdict: Not the scariest game ever made, but definitely effective, emotionally heavy, and worth the play especially if you like your horror with a side of “wow, that’s actually really sad.”
