Backrooms Escape Together
Jen's Review
Backrooms Escape Together holds a special place for me, because if I’m remembering correctly, this was the first Backrooms game I ever played—and honestly? It set the standard. This is the game that made me fall in love with Backrooms horror in the first place.
It’s multiplayer, which already puts it in the “way more fun with friends” category, and things escalate fast. One minute you’re fine, the next minute everything is going wrong, people are yelling, someone ran the wrong way, and now there’s bad juju everywhere. Classic Backrooms behavior.
The environments themselves stay consistent by level—Level 1 is your iconic yellow-wall Backrooms, Level 2 is the parking garage, and so on—but here’s what makes it really work: the objectives change every time you play. You can run the same level ten times, and even though the environment looks familiar, the gameplay never feels stale because what you’re actually doing is different each run.
And of course… it’s a Backrooms game. So you already know there’s something lurking just around the corner, waiting for you to get a little too comfortable.
Overall, it’s a solid, fun, chaos-filled Backrooms experience and an easy recommendation—especially if you’ve got friends to drag into the madness with you. If you’re getting into Backrooms games or want one that balances replayability, tension, and multiplayer chaos, Backrooms Escape Together is absolutely worth playing. 👀💛
