In Befriended Curse, you play as a psychologist who answers an ad to spend the summer with a woman and her daughter, hoping to help diagnose and improve their strained relationship. But pretty much the moment you arrive, it becomes clear that something is… off. And the deeper you get, the more you realize this situation is not what you signed up for.

This game was actually gifted to me by one of my viewers, and I am SO glad it was — because I genuinely enjoyed it. While the core story idea isn’t completely brand new, it has enough twists and unsettling moments that it still feels like a fresh take. The atmosphere carries a steady creepy vibe, and the jumpscares are placed well enough to keep you on edge without feeling cheap or overdone.

Overall, Befriended Curse is a solid indie horror experience. It’s entertaining, unsettling, and definitely worth your time if you’re looking for a good horror game to play or stream. I’d absolutely recommend giving it a shot! 👻🎮
