Blueman
Jen's Review
Blueman had me a little confused going in. I knew right away it didn’t look like the usual horror games I play, but it was listed as a horror title—so I figured, why not? Let’s see what happens.
From my personal experience? This game wasn’t scary.
It definitely had some weird, creepy undertones, but not in the traditional “I’m afraid to move forward” way. It’s more unsettling and bizarre than outright terrifying—and honestly, that ended up being part of the charm.
And that’s the thing: even though it didn’t scare me, I still really enjoyed it. It was just unhinged enough that me and chat got a ton of laughs out of it. The weirdness is intentional, and it leans into that hard.
The game is short and doesn’t have a ton of levels right now, but it feels like more will be added over time. There was even a special Christmas level you could complete, which makes it seem like they plan on expanding it gradually. That’s not based on anything official I found—just the way the game is structured.
If you like horror-ish games but don’t want something super scary—and instead want strange, creepy vibes with a side of “what did I just play?”—then Blueman is absolutely worth trying. It’s weird, it’s fun, and it gave us plenty of laughs… and honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want. 👀😄
