Brokenlore: LOW
Jen's Review
Brokenlore: LOW just… wasn’t my favorite.
The story felt like it had some thought put into it, but not enough to really stick the landing. It’s not complete trash by any means—I’ve definitely played worse—but it felt like something that could’ve been stronger with a bit more time and polish. The ideas were there, they just didn’t fully come together in a satisfying way.
Gameplay-wise, a lot of it boiled down to walking in one direction… turning around… then walking back the other way for a bit. There were a couple moments where you actually had to run from something, which helped break things up, but overall there just weren’t many scares to really keep the tension high.
And at the end of the day, that’s kind of where it lands for me. It wasn’t awful. It wasn’t amazing. It just didn’t leave much of an impression.
Safe to say, this one didn’t crack my favorites list—probably not even my top 25 if we’re being brutally honest. If you’re a big fan of the Brokenlore series, you might still want to check it out for yourself. But for me? This one was just… okay.
