Captured
Jen's Review
Captured is an anomaly game that doesn’t quite feel like a typical anomaly game—and that’s exactly why it works. A lot of games in this genre can end up feeling repetitive or boring after a while, but that was not the case here at all.
The creepy atmosphere is strong from the start, and the story that unfolds alongside it does a great job of setting the scene and keeping you invested. What really sets Captured apart, though, is how the anomalies are handled. They’re not just “spot the difference and move on” moments—you actually interact with them. You get chased. You get jumpscared. There are real consequences if you miss something.
Because of that, this ended up being one of my favorite anomaly games I’ve played so far.
If you enjoy creepy walking simulators mixed with anomaly-style gameplay, this one is absolutely for you. It’s tense, engaging, and way more dynamic than most games in the genre. Overall, Captured was a really good time, and I had a lot of fun with it. Definitely worth checking out. 👀
