Christmas Story

Christmas Story was a solid little horror experience. It’s short, spooky, and pretty much everything you’d want from a Christmas-themed scare fest. The story itself isn’t doing anything wildly new, but it works—and honestly, sometimes you don’t need reinvented lore when the vibes are on point.

The atmosphere is creepy in that quiet, “something is wrong in this house” kind of way, with well-timed jumpscares that absolutely got me (chat can confirm… I may or may not have yelped). There are a few small puzzles sprinkled in, but nothing brain-melting—just enough to keep you engaged without killing the pacing.

Overall, it’s a good game. Plain and simple.

Now, obviously, Christmas horror games are very much a seasonal delicacy, so this isn’t something you’re probably booting up in July. But if you’re in the mood for festive fear and want a quick, scary experience to knock out in one sitting, I’d definitely say give Christmas Story a shot.
