Empty Eyes
Jen's Review
Empty Eyes completely exceeded my expectations. I saw the trailer and thought, “Yeah, this looks good—probably a solid horror game.” What I didn’t expect was just how good it actually was.
The graphics? Great. The gameplay? Solid. The story? Engaging and well done.
And on top of that, you get chase scenes, effective jumpscares, genuinely creepy atmosphere, and puzzles that actually make you stop and think instead of just handing you the solution. It checks every box you’d want checked in a horror game.
It’s also a bit longer than what you normally expect from an indie horror title, but honestly? That worked in its favor. It never felt padded or dragged out—just more time to stay immersed in a really well-crafted experience.
I’d legitimately put Empty Eyes up there with games like Ramona and Unmourned in terms of quality. That’s high praise, and this game earns it.
If you’re looking for a horror game you can really sink your teeth into—one that balances scares, story, atmosphere, and gameplay—Empty Eyes is an easy recommendation. Don’t sleep on this one. 👀
