Jen's Review
Express No. 6 is another Christmas-themed horror game that’s really only relevant about once a year—but honestly? I had a lot of fun with this one.
The story is… absolutely unhinged. You’re on a train traveling during the holiday season, everything’s calm and cozy, and then suddenly the game takes a hard left into pure nightmare chaos. We’re talking wildly random jumpscares that make zero sense, frantic bathroom moments where everything is going wrong at once, and yes—even a farting roommate. I mean, this game truly said, “Why choose one idea when we can choose all of them?”
There’s not a ton of rhyme or reason to what’s happening, but somehow that works in its favor. The randomness keeps you on edge, and the jumpscares are unpredictable enough that you genuinely don’t see them coming—which absolutely got me more than once (sorry, chat).
If you’re putting together a lineup of games to play around the holidays and want something spooky, chaotic, and wildly entertaining, I’d definitely recommend adding Express No. 6 to the roster. It’s messy, it’s strange, and it’s a whole ride—literally. 🎄😬
