Forest Asylum

Alright, I’m gonna be honest with y’all… this one just wasn’t for me.

Forest Asylum felt way more like a Roblox-style horror game than an actual PC horror game made by a full development team. The graphics were super blocky, the atmosphere didn’t really pull me in, and the story never grabbed my attention enough to make me care about what was happening.

And to make matters worse… I couldn’t even finish the game. It broke on me halfway through, which completely killed whatever momentum it had going. At that point I was more frustrated than scared — and that’s never a good sign in a horror game.

Because of that, I really can’t recommend spending your time or money on this one. There is a sequel that I haven’t played yet, but honestly… after how much of a letdown the first game was, I’m not sure I want to risk it.

That said — who knows. Maybe Forest Asylum 2 is actually a hit. But the first one? Not it for me.
