MADiSON is a 10 out of 10 horror game for me, no question. This game had EVERYTHING I look for in horror, and then some.

The graphics and gameplay were fantastic — everything looked polished, immersive, and unsettling in a way that made me constantly feel like something was wrong. The story was absolutely unhinged in the best way. It kept me entertained, confused, and guessing the entire time, which I LOVE. Every time I thought I understood what was happening, the game said, “Actually… no.”

The atmosphere was genuinely creepy from start to finish. It didn’t rely on cheap tricks — it built tension, made you uncomfortable, and then punished you for feeling safe. And the puzzles?? HARD. Like… hard-hard. Hard enough that I definitely would not have completed some of them without chat coming in clutch. So shoutout to chat for the emotional and intellectual support.

And then there’s ol’ Blue Knees… That joker was creepy as CRAP. The design alone was unsettling, but the fact that he had his own song — one that sounded like something straight out of a children’s show — took the creep factor to another level. That contrast was chef’s kiss disturbing.

On top of all that, the game was actually long enough that I felt like I truly got my money’s worth. No rushed ending, no “wait, that’s it?” feeling — just a solid, full horror experience.

MADiSON is an absolute must-play.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend. 🖤👻

MADISON is pure psychological horror that just grinds your nerves down over time. The atmosphere is heavy, tense, and constant… the kind of game where you’re already uncomfortable before anything even happens. I said more than a few very real “f%#! off”s while playing, and every single one was deserved.

The puzzles in MADISON are tough, but in a really satisfying way. They don’t hold your hand. You actually have to slow down, pay attention, and use your brain. You are rewarded for thinking things through, but I’ll be honest: there were moments I don’t think I would’ve made it without my chat’s help. Not because the puzzles were unfair, but because my nerves were absolutely shot from the never ending tension, truly.

And then there are the moments that just wreck you. The section that feels like an underwater parking garage, snapping photos while inching closer to the police radio sounds? I about sh*t my pants. Hans, the ghost during the church puzzle, pissed me off in the best way possible and made my blood pressure spike to stroke high every time he showed up. And then there’s Blue Knees… genuine nightmare fuel. His story, the song, the way you have to escape him, his look… all of it is horrifying and unforgettable.

Story-wise, MADiSON leans hard into psychological horror. It’s dark, uncomfortable, and not afraid to leave things open to interpretation. You’re piecing things together as you go, even after the game ends. And I want to give a huge round of applause for the sound design in this game… I don’t think I’ve seen another game do it more perfectly.

Overall, MADiSON is an anxiety-fuel horror experience that’s way more about dread than jump scares…and yes, it earned every single one of my “f%#! off”s (and believe me, there were a lot of them). If you love creepy atmosphere, unsettling storytelling, and games that mess with your head, this one is a must play!
