You've Got a Package
Jen's Review
You've Got a Package starts with a simple premise: you’re a young, talented writer, and one evening someone leaves a mysterious box on your doorstep. Whatever’s inside promptly turns your life into a living nightmare.
And honestly? That tracks.
Because whose idea was it to gift me a demon?? Take it back. Return to sender. I do not want it.
This game is a little all over the place—in the best way possible. It’s very clear that the main character is dealing with some serious mental instability, and once he’s off his meds, everything goes completely off the rails. We’re talking a mounted deer head that casually relocates itself around the house, a giant rabbit that can’t decide where—or what—it wants to be, and a washing machine that gave me full-on Little Shop of Horrors vibes.
It’s unhinged. It’s chaotic. And I loved every second of it.
The jumpscares are on point too. There were multiple moments where I nearly launched myself out of my chair. The game does a great job of keeping you uncomfortable and off-balance without feeling cheap or lazy.
If you’re looking for a quick horror game that’s packed with vibes, weirdness, and solid scares, You’ve Got a Package is absolutely worth checking out. Short, chaotic, and memorable—just maybe don’t open any mysterious boxes after playing it. 📦😬
